What is the Workshop?
This workshop will provide an overview of Networked Improvement Communities (NICs) and expose participants to the various elements associated with NICs. There will be time provided for participants within and across Launch Pilot project teams to have a facilitated experience developing aim statements, driver diagrams, defining measures of improvement, designing evaluation plans, and creating a multi-tiered communication plan. Developing a NIC takes time, so though we will walk you through all of these elements, there should not be an expectation that you will have a chartered NIC by the end of the workshop. Rather, when the time comes for you to establish your own NIC within your Alliance, you will have been exposed to the elements necessary for the development of a NIC.
Who should attend?
Launch Pilots interested in pursuing a NIC model should apply. It is important to know if NICs are the right course of action for your project. We highly recommend watching the introductory webinars to determine if they are right for your team. If so, we encourage teams to bring 2-3 representatives to participate in the workshop. We will require participation in all events, so please do not apply to attend if you can only attend for part of the meeting.
